Each six-month KSP cohort focuses on a different theme and/or community of elders. The second cohort (January – June 2021) will explore and examine the Garment District in Los Angeles and the impact that COVID-19 has had on the severely impacted merchandising and apparel industry.
We are currently recruiting YOUTH and ELDER (55+) participants for this program.
Please submit the KSP application by Dec. 31. (DEADLINE EXTENDED)
-Must commit to a full six-month program, once a week
-Must live or attend school in Koreatown
-Interested in engaging with and learning from elders in their community
-Bilingual (Korean, Spanish), a plus!
Have you ever worked in the Garment District, or in the apparel and merchandising industries? Do you want to engage more with youth in your community? We would LOVE to hear more about your work experiences before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.
-Must commit to one month of workshops, once a week
-Must have worked in the apparel/merchandising/jobber industry
-Interested in giving back and sharing your experiences with your community
-Language: Korean, Spanish, English — Open to all!
